It has been one of those weeks. You can probably tell by my lack of blogging. I think I am suffering from a case of "why the devil did we move to a place where the wind never stops blowing and it is still only in the 40s". Anyone else? Because of this lack of motivation I have turned into one of these moms. "Sure, I don't care what you eat for dinner." "Eh, don't worry about cleaning your room before bedtime." "If your sister and you want to sleep on the floor, who cares?" My husband would be mortified!
Oh well... I picked up another handkerchief the other day while at Walmart. (You all thought I would say Hobby Lobby) They had a very slim selection, but thought that this polka dot one was extra cute, and it was a buck. I was initially going to just make another skirt like I had been doing, but was a little burnt out. I have made a ton! So, I remembered a quick and easy little tutorial on Make It and Love It and got to work.
I made it and I love it! Okay, I had to say that. I obviously adjusted a few things. First, I only used a shirt for the yoga type waste. Savanah has a shirt I bought from Children's Place and never really loved. Second, the bottom of my skirt is a handkerchief not t-shirt material. Everything else worked the same. I just scaled it down a tad to fit a sassy, little two year old that I know living in Utah.

Super cute. She will be thrilled to have a new skirt from her fabulous aunt yaya. Wish you still lived just down the street, the divas could play.
