Long Sleeves to Short

Such a great tutorial for adjusting sleeves.
Now you can go scavenge the clearance racks for winter clothes that can become summer clothes.

Tunic

Dresses and skirts seem to be my go-to pieces to make for Savanah.  They are easy, super fast, and do not require a lot of thought along the way.  Shirts are not that way for me.

Exhibit A:
I followed this tutorial, struggling a bit.  I had a hard time with the sleeves and my pattern was a little low cut in the end.  I called my mom a couple times, but it can be hard to talk "sewing" over the phone.  Everything else about the tutorial was pretty easy and I think if I try it again it will turn out better.

For now I think adding some embellishments to the front will give it a little something more.
 Much better!

Jelly Roll Skirt

I absolutely love when my mom sends things in the mail. And look what happen to come the other day!

We found this great tutorial on Pinterest one night. With the help of a couple jelly rolls, my mom made one for all the girls.

Thanks, mom!

Party Skirt

There is something so cute and simple about a little skirt. Especially one you can whip together Saturday night before church Sunday morning.
This tutorial was really easy to follow.  So easy that I can't wait to try it out with a zipper in my size!

Savanah looked extra cute with her little, blue cardigan over her shirt and her sparkly shoes. Girls are tough but I sure love dressing her up!
